报告人简历：Dr. Sjoerd van der Zee is a famous soil physicist and professor at Department of Environmental Sciences, Wageningen University. Prof. Sjoerd van der Zee’s research areas include (1) soil salinity and sodicity, (2) ecohydrology, (3) impact of using (treated) waste water, effluent, and waste sludges on the composition and quality of soil, crops, and groundwater, and (4) Soil and groundwater contamination.

Prof. Sjoerd van der Zee has undertaken research projects and research funds in excess of 30 million Euro. He also Involved in the China “Distinguished Foreigner Scientist Program”. Prof. Sjoerd van der Zee was the member of editorial boards for journals including Vadose Zone Journal, Transport in Porous Media; European Journal of Soil Science. Prof. Sjoerd van der Zee has supervised more than 35 PhD students and 100 MSc students as a promotor and/or Co-promotor. Prof. Sjoerd van der Zee has published more than 200 journal articles and book chapters.
